Condition: Looks unread, with uncreased spine. Pages tightly bound; with yellowing due to age; crease-free; very clean apart from faint watermarking to the lower edge/outer corner of the last 17 leaves, due to spillage of clean water, with a corresponding undulating area to about a third of the leaves (max area affected measures 10cm along each edge, extending a max of 3.5cm towards the middle of the page – most pages affected much less). Cover clean apart from a small mark (2cm x 0.5cm max) and a few tiny marks along the lower edge of the inside front cover; with a few minor indentations; very slight rubbing to corners/edges; a slightly undulating triangular area (short sides 10cm) to the back, due to clean water; and a name-plate glued to the inside front cover.

Payment directly into my bank account, at any branch of Natwest. You don’t need to have a Natwest bank account to do this, and there is no fee. Payment in coins/notes clears immediately, cheques take 4–6 working days. Payment can also be made from your on-line account or by telephone banking (takes 1–4 working days to clear, depending on route and bank).

Cheque (from an account with the same name as the buyer’s, or written by a financial institution such as a building society). Cheques may take 4–6 working days to clear, but for buyers with reasonable feedback I don’t usually wait for clearance.
