This issue of the bulletin is devoted to Giovanni Francesco Barbieri, best known as Guercino and his famous drawings and paintings.
Giovanni Francesco Barbieri (February 8, 1591 — December 9, 1666), best known as Guercino or Il Guercino, was an Italian Baroque painter from the region of Emilia, and active in Rome and Bologna. Guercino is Italian for squinter, a nickname that was given to him because he was cross-eyed. He is especially noted for his many superb drawings.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BUYERS:
HOW YOU RATE SELLERS ON THE DSR IS VITAL. Though eBay tells you that a "4" is GOOD - IT DOES NOT COMPUTE THAT WAY- A "4" is an UNACCEPTABLE rating - as high as a 4.7 average lowers a Seller's chance to have her auctions show up in the search results, thus impeding her ability to make sales, raises the fees eBay charges her, and in some cases may prohibit a seller from even selling on eBay. If you give a Seller a Positive rating, please support that by rating her with "5's". If you are unhappy in any way, talk to her - email her, communicate!
AND PLEASE NOTE THAT "Shipping Time" means how long between payment and taking the book to the post office -- NOT how long USPS takes to deliver the package - In mailing thousands of books, I HAVE NEVER FAILED TO MAIL A BOOK WITHIN 3 BUSINESS DAYS OF PAYMENT - My DSR for Shipping Time should be a perfect "5"!
************************************************
PLEASE DO NOT PAY ME UNTIL YOU RECEIVE AN INVOICE!
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS NOTE:
1. IF YOU ARE AN INTERNATIONAL BIDDER--YOU MUST REQUEST THE COST OF SHIPPING BEFORE BIDDING -- OTHERWISE, SINCE POSTAGE HAS GONE UP FROM THE US YOU MAY HAVE A NASTY SURPRISE!
2.You may be responsible for customs fees and experience longer shipping times due to customs-related delays.
I ship generally within 3 business days of end of auction/receipt of payment - usually on Mondays and Wednesdays or Thursdays. I can't email you when I mail your book but I promise to notify you if I do NOT keep that commitment above. United States Media Mail shipping $3.75-
includes Delivery Confirmation
ABOUT MEDIA MAIL - It is the lowest cost way to ship books in the US. It is extremely reliable but it is NOT fast unless you live very close to me (West Coast US). It can take anywhere from 4 - 20 BUSINESS DAYS to arrive (business days are Monday through Friday, no holidays). When you pay me, you can figure out from that formula about how long at the least or at the most, it might take for your book to arrive. If you live in Hawaii or Alaska or the East Coast you can pretty well count on it taking a month to get your book, at least. If you are in a hurry, ask me about upgrading to Priority Mail and I'll change your invoice.
If your book seems to take too long, contact your local Post Office - sometimes PO's overlook Media Mail or sometimes try to deliver a pkg and you don't get a notice. If you wish to purchase insurance for your book, and it's not required on the auction which you won, please let me know before remitting payment.
PLEASE PEEK AT MY HALF.COM LISTINGS, TOO! THANKS!
