You are bidding on a group of three items: A bound Journal, 6" x 7.5" and wirebound, created by Hallmark to support the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. It contains 80 lined sheets. The cover is pink, tied with a pink ribbon, and embossed with the words "Live fully, live well." The second item is a notepad with the same motif and reverse-printed with the same sentiment (white on pink). The 4.5" x 8" sheets are bound into a pad, perforated for easy removal, and tied with a pink ribbon at the top.
The third item is a set of a dozen pencils from Ticonderoga. Each of these #2 pencils is printed with words and/or symbols offering Hope, and encouraging Early Detection as a Protection against this disease. The pencils are made from sustainable-growth wood. They are certified 100% free of rainforest wood.
With early detection, the five-year survival rate is 96%. Over 2 million breast cancer survivors are alive in America today. The Hallmark company and its stores have donated 10% of the original retail price of the first two items to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
