Very difficult to find first English printing. Nicolas Medtner's The Muse and the Fashion, being a defense of the foundations of the Art of Music. Translated by Alfred J. Swan. Clean 1951 edition, no dust jacket. Binding is tight, library stamp inside on second page and on side of pages.
